Waiting

The bill for my ovary transposition surgery is still in insurance limbo:

At least it's moved from "pending" to "in process." If it doesn't proceed directly to "paid," Violet will know why she gets to choose from the finest in-state school that Wisconsin has to offer 17 years from now...

i got a bill for baby k's 15 month appointment for over $300 in september!!!! it was over $1000 for her shots and insurance only covers up to $750/year in preventative care?!?!?! so a baby has to have appointments every 3 months for the first 2 years - insurance can't cover 1 appointment?!?!? i told them i thought that was disgusting. so after several phone calls, several months, and several headaches - i just got a letter 2 days ago (yes march and her appointment was in august) stating that i actually owe $48.00

not great, but i'll pay it...

I agree with HH. Raise holy heck and you'll get them to pay. Don't lose any sleep over it.

And Miss V can always opt out of college and attend training school like her dad... ;)

I just *know* they're going to stamp a big DENIAL OF CLAIM on it the second I go under the knife...

Tricia--Jody has all but put the kabosh on Vi's attending a service academy. Then again, he'd be hard pressed to stop any child of mine from doing something once she puts her mind to it. ;)
