The What and the When

Hey guys--I have set up a Google Calendar to keep you all informed as to what appointments and procedures I have coming up, as well as other stuff, like when my mom is coming into town (ETA: Saturday Tuesday or Wednesday). The button is in the sidebar--let me know if you have any problems accessing it.

Bridget-I just found out about this awful news. Like all of your friends, I am very concerned. We will be hoping and praying for you to pull through this in typical Brigita style.

I'm glad to see that you haven't lost your way with words. We all look forward to watching you put those talents to the delivery of good news, and soon.

Take care, and call on us if you need anything.

Thanks, Cappy--It really does help knowing that we have so many friends out there pulling for us/me.

This whole thing is so beyond fuct it boggles even my gigantic mind, but the good news is that I am young and so FKN that we can throw everything we have at my Resident Evil and literally nuke it back to the stone age.

Keeping my fingers crossed that I'm recovered enough from surgery by the time RBF rolls around--I will be seriously overdue for some hugs and heavily-hopped drugs by that point.

I definitely hope to see you there.

Evidently, Minnesota will be braving the challenge this year, though I don't think the date has been decided. I was hoping to bring a bottle of mad dog from the mad dog tree that we planted earlier this year. Unfortunately, all that grew in its place was a hideous-looking weed. Last month, I bent down to get a closer look, and it punched me in the face.

How is it possible that you can still make me laugh out loud, Bridget? You're FKN all right--right down to the core.

So mark yer dang Google calendar for RBF Minnesota. No, we don't have a date yet...seriously considering making the whole frickin' year RBF.

The TC is only 4.5 hrs away, and the way I drive, we'll make it in 3 flat--if/when you need us, let us know and we're there. Safety schmafety.

If I can't find some humor in this whole ridiculous situation, I'm in for an even longer row to hoe, Sir Rog. Glad you guys are able to laugh a bit as well.

sounds like quantum mechanics to me, Heather. Niebs? Want to take a shot at this one?

roger - i thought you were a fellow engineer?!?!? it's not quantum mechanics but rather heat transfer. you need to look to a true chegger (hello - me!) for the answer - not an english major posing as a physicist!@! you've let me down...

My Cancer Deployment: Come for the tumor updates, stay for the enginerd smacktalk.

thermodynamics - the more technical term for heat transfer - was the word escaping my mind late last night. i'm a bit slow in my old age - but i've still got it - cheggers unite!

come on B - after living/putting up with me for so long - you know you are an enginerd at heart ;)

sorry, Heather--great point. I didn't do so good in thermo...so thought I could pass the buck. Standby, though, because I've got my quad-ruled paper and I'll fill it up with crap, erase the entire page, fill it up again, erase it, fill it up a 3rd time and finally just start drinking.

...just like when I was an "engineer."

i'm right there with you, rog ;)
